Phantom of the Opera Slot from Microgaming

Another exciting new game from Microgaming is the Phantom of the Opera slot that is due to come out later in the year.

In fact, the people at Microgaming are so excited by the prospect of this game that they have given out details when it won’t be released until autumn of 2017.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of the news from Microgaming that they will be bringing out a Jurassic World slot this summer.

As for the Phantom of the Opera slot, we don’t an awful lot about it so far. However, we do know it is meant to be based on the 2004 film adaptation of the musical, rather than being directly based on the show itself.

You may remember that this movie featured the likes of Gerard Butler and Minnie Driver. The game will include the most famous songs from the show and movie, so expect to hear classic such as The Music of the Night and The Phantom of the Opera.

The show’s principal character will be lurking on the reels and there will be video clips from the film to spice things up too. The clips are said to accompany the special bonus rounds, with a free spins round filled with features also promised.

Microgaming are calling this a “new genre” of game for them and they seem to be genuinely excited about bringing it out. They also said that it will be “extending and broadening our portfolio of games”.
