Gala Casino Site Design
We were greeted by a brilliantly laid out site which really made us feel at home right away. The colours are pretty cool and the main banner has some sort of classy party going on while a faceless dude looks out at us. In this banner there is a note of the current jackpots, and there was some serious cash to be won when we dropped by.
It is simple to move about the Gala Casino site and the list of icons below the banner – we assume these are the most popular shortcuts – take you the likes of the welcome bonus details, a Cashback offer and the PokerPlayer Tour.
There is no hanging on page changes and none of that getting lost and not knowing how to get back to where you just where. The site has a nicely unobtrusive design and does its job well. Unlike a lot of other online casinos, you just play instantly on the site rather than having to download anything. It is powered by Chartwell software and gives good, clean images and fine gameplay.
Games
Blackjack, roulette and baccarat are the games on offer here. It has to be said that the selection is a fair bit smaller on a lot of other online casino sites but as this is Gala you also get tabs to play bingo, wager on sports events and play some poker. Then there are a few slots games such as Noah’s Ark and Reel Gems.
A nice touch on the site is the way you can meet the dealers and then interact with them while you are playing. If you are looking for a massive selection of games then there are other sites you might be more interested in. If you want a good take on the casino “classics” then this is a decent one to try.
If you are interested in the PokerPlayer UK Tour you might want to check out the online qualifiers to see if you can get through to play in the real life rounds which are going to be held throughout the county in Gala clubs.
Offers
A £150 welcome bonus is a good way to get started. There are 3 different bonuses of £50 for each of the games on offer; blackjack, roulette and baccarat. Be sure to claim this when you get started, to make sure that you get playing with lots of cash.
There is also a monthly bonus of £100 which you can get through a 100% cash match offer on your deposits. The VIP Loyalty Club is also a place regular players will want to check out, to see how it could benefit them.
Our Verdict
Because of the instant play aspect of the Gala Casino site it is a smart choice if you want to get going straight away. Because it is run by a firm which has a chain of real life casinos there is a greater feeling of being part of a real casino community, which the interaction with the live dealers helps to enhance.
The selection of games might just be too small for anyone who likes to switch from one to another every few minutes. However, anyone who wants to settle down for the evening with the roulette wheel or for some games of blackjack or baccarat will find it very tempting.
