Swedish online games developer NetEnt AB has rolled out some of its most popular games to the PokerStars websites.
In fact, that is part of a tie up between NetEnt and The Rational Group that started out earlier this year. The deal will see the games from NetEnt feature on the full range of Rational Group sites as well as on PokerStars.
This new launch allows NetEnt to reach out a new set of customers on these sites. The poker segment is a big part of the regulated European online gambling scene and PokerStars is seen as one of the top sites. As well as having a sought after UK licence, the Rational Group also holds gaming licences for other countries such as Belgium, France, Italy and Spain.
Enrico Bradamante is the marketing director and the chief of European market operations at NetEnt Malta. He said that they were proud of the new partnership and is confident that their games will contribute greatly to the sites they are being added to.
Another development from NetEnt comes with their partnership with Italian gaming platform experts MicroGame. This allows them to provide their live casino for the first time in Italy. The live, real time gaming option gives players the chance to play casino classics such as blackjack and roulette.
In this case, MicroGame is reported to give the platform for 30% of the Italian online poker segment. This comes through the People's Poker Network which has 130 online poker rooms and more than 1.5 member accounts.
