Casino Player Wins $30,000 and Throws It off a Pubs Balcony

Now and again you come across a news story that just makes you want to smile, and this time around it is based around a Frenchman who was enjoying a holiday in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

The anonymous Frenchman was treating himself to a short break away for his birthday, when he decided to spend some time at his hotel’s casino. It turned out to be a lucky night for this birthday boy as he walked away with an impressive cash prize of $30,000.

It seems a large cash win wasn’t enough of a birthday celebration, so he took his winnings to the local Moby Dick Pub, where he was seen lighting Cigars with $100 notes. This was just the beginning though, as he ended the evening by chucking all of his winnings off the Pubs balcony, where it was picked up by the town’s locals, and his fellow holiday makers. It is rumoured that a local dishwasher walked away with as much as $3,000! Let’s just hope he didn’t regret his generous behaviour the next day.
