The Act Nightclub Being Classed as Too Raunchy For Vegas

Ten months ago, The Act Nightclub opened for business inside the Palazzo Hotel and Casino, which is located on the famous Las Vegas Strip. It is a burlesque inspired nightclub that has given the Moulin Rouge a modern twist. Moulin Rouge was famous for its Parisian cabaret shows that were often inspired by the circus. The Act has a similar vibe; however, things are a lot more naughty, which has gotten them in trouble with the Palazzo Hotel and Casino.

In fact, the Palazzo Hotel and Casino want to end the ten year agreement it has with The Act, as it feels that their shows are too obscene and that they; therefore, violate obscenity laws. The Act is openly fighting the closure in court, as it feels that the simulated sex acts that their performers perform do not constitute obscenity.

The Act nightclub will continue to operate until a district judge decides what the outcome of the court case will be. We would imagine that the night club will probably find a surge of new customers now that it has been in the news, as at the time of writing their website was done due to high volumes of traffic.
