PokerStars Set for Historic Hand

The popular internet operator PokerStars is about to reach an important milestone. One of the firm’s upcoming online games will have the distinction of being the 100 billionth hand dealt by PokerStars. That is; the 100,000,000,000^th hand of poker they have dealt. This is going to be very good news for those people who participate in it.

The poker giant has set aside a reported $5 million (over £3,250,000) to cover promotions for the build up to this historic hand and also for once it happens. There will be a number of different offers on the go in June as we wait for this milestone to occur.

$1 Million Up for Grabs

One such PokerStars promotion in June is the tournament which is going to have guaranteed prizes of $1 million. This special event is going to be based on the company’s Zoom product, which is a fast, exciting version of poker. There will also be a $1 million free roll tournament and a number of golden sit n go tables too.

As they have done in the past, PokerStars will be putting up a $1 bounty for the historic hand itself. The overall winner will walk away with a cool $100,000 while everyone else involved in it will win $10,000. Additionally, everyone of those players will get another $2,000 for every VIP point they have earned in the last 50 hands played. Another left over from the $1 million prize fun will be divided up among all of the players who are online using the PokerStars client at the time of this hand.
