Two Poker Sites Close Down
A couple of poker sites have closed their doors at the start of April, following hot on the heels of other recent website closures.
Firstly, the Fortune Poker site – which had been going for the best part of a decade – has closed. The message for customers of the site said that they have been “grateful” to able to serve their customers with what they believe was the “most personal and VIP oriented” of all of the internet’s poker rooms.
The statement went on to confirm that the “many changes” in the internet wagering industry had made it “a struggle” for them to carry on supporting their players and affiliates in the way they have liked to have done. The site closed at midnight on the 31st of March and any prizes or money due should have been paid into players’ account on that same day. There will be no communications from the site from the 15th of April onwards.
AdamEve Poker Closes Too
The other site which has stopped allowing players to play on it is called AdamEve Poker. This closure also took place from the 1st of April but it seems as though there is a chance that this one comes back to life again in the future.
AdamEve Poker was a part of the Revolution Poker Network and the people behind the site said that “recent events and difficulties” had caused the closure of the site. It seems that the network was behind in making payments and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see this site surface again at some point.
