Qualifying Starts for Irish Open Mini Main Event

The Irish Open will be upon us before we know it but for the meantime we have the online qualifying events to look out for.

In fact, the qualifying which has just started isn’t for the main deal but rather the Irish Open Mini Main Event brought to us by Paddy Power Poker. The Mini Main Event will happen on Easter Sunday, which falls on the 31^st of March this year. The buy in for those people who are going to pay their way is €200 + €25.

A Seat a Week

For those players who want to play their way in the qualifying period has now started and you can try and make your way there every Tuesday at 8pm right through to the 28^th of March. These event cost €10 + €1. Every week there is one seat for the Mini Main Event to be won this way.

A spokesman for Paddy Power Poker said that they expect the Irish Open Mini Main Event to be “on the most popular” of all of the happening on the newly expanded Irish Open side event schedule, which now features 11 different events.  

The spokesman went on to call the structured of the event “great” and the buy in “affordable”. They then called it the “must play tournament” which is likely to be equally appealing to players of all levels and on all levels of budget.  In fact, they said that the €11 cost for qualification could turn out to be the “best investment” which any player taking part ever makes.
