Two Online Casinos Close Their Virtual Doors
It seems as though it is the end of the road for a couple of online casino sites which have been having a tough time of it lately.
The casino sites in question as Bet821 and iButler. Both have messages on their site saying that their operations have been closed down with immediate effect. This comes after a time in which both casino websites have been accused of having their employees pretend to be paying customers and also of plagiarizing the software from other online casinos.
The messages on the website state that any customers who have real cash balances remaining in their accounts should contact the relevant Customer Support Team by email to look to claim this back.
Accused of Spamming Tactics
Both Bet821 and iButler have been on the go since back in 2009 but right from the start there were accusations that they had both used spamming tactics on a variety of message boards and that they had taken their software idea from the products developed by Rival Gaming.
Once rumours had spread about the copied games used on these sites an employee called Nicos Thocarides got involved in the debate. He wrote off to a number of websites saying that they has used the material in all innocence and that it had been provided to them by a Cyprus based software vendor. The allegedly copied games continued to be used on the sites though.
No official word has been released yet as to whether these online casinos have a future ahead of them or not.
