Plans to Make PartyPoker the World’s Favourite Poker Room
The online gambling firm Bwin.Party digital entertainment confirmed their financial figures for the first half of the year recently but perhaps the details on their plans for the future of PartyPoker were of more interest to you.
The PartyPoker brand has been struggling for some time now but the gaming firm has confirmed that they have no intention of giving up on the brand. Norbert Teufelberger and Jim Ryan are the CEOs of Bwin and they both said that PartyPoker is still very much part of their plans.
The joint statement they have brought out says that poker is still very much a “key area of focus” within the company. It goes on to that they are “determined to return it to growth”. Their idea is to follow a detailed plan, part of which involves “pooling our poker liquidity”. They also spoke about “repositioning our flagship PartyPoker brand”.
Speed Poker Also Now Available
They also have high hopes for the new FastForward Poker product. This is a speed poker format which was launched on a beta version a little over a month ago and is now available as a permanent option on the firm’s online gaming options now.
Party Poker was relaunched to the public in 2009 and the word from Bwin is that they have been working away in the background on a “new generation version”. It looks like we will get to see this fairly early next year. It is said to have a lot of new features and a “new look”. The statement from the gambling firm confirms that their aim is to make PartyPoker the “world’s favourite poker room”.
