Modern Warfare 3 Will Be Best Selling Game of 2011 All Bets are off

Thousands of gamers cued up, pre-ordered or are awaiting delivery of this years best selling game. According to Paddy Power Modern Warfare 3, which was released on the 8th November will be the best selling game of the year.

They are so confident of this fact that they have already starting paying out on bets placed prior to the games release. Initial 1/5 odds where further slashed to 1/16, which pretty much makes it an unbackable bet.

Ken Robertson pretty much said as much “At odds of 1/16 this contest is well and truly over. On its day of release we are happy to crown Call of Duty: MW3 this year's undisputed champion!”

They’ve pulled the plug on Christmas number one and started a list which doesn’t include MW3. Instead the games now include:

 2/1       Gears Of War 3
 9/1       Pro Evolution Soccer 2011
12/1      Final Fantasy Versus XIII
12/1      Mario Kart 7

At the moment gamblers can still place a 5/6 bet on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to be the best selling game of all time. A title which is currently held by Call of Duty: Black Ops which blitzed charts in 2010 and the start of 2011.
