Tottenham Hotspur and Fun88 Team Up

The number of betting firms involved in Premier League sponsorship has increased again, with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club confirming that they are linking up with the Asian internet gaming company Fun88.

The tie-in gives Fun88 the official title of the football club’s Asian Betting and Gaming Partner. The deal which they have struck runs for two years and has come into effect immediately.

The idea is to bring in more Asian customers for both firms, and one of the ideas which is already being worked on is a co-branded website with both firms represented on it.

A Big Asian Fan Base

Daniel Levy is the Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and he said that they are “delighted” to have Fun88 as an official partner. He stated it is their first time working with a regional partner in Asia and put the fact down to the “significant increase” they have seen in the number of Asian fans they have. This is an area which has shown a lot of growth in recent years and the club is clearly keen to keep it going. In fact, Levy went on to say that more that 60% of the team’s global fan base is from Asia.

Nick Lee is the founder of Fun88 and he said that the partnership combines one of the top internet gaming companies in Asia with one of the Premier League teams which offer most excitement and attacking play. He said that they on the path to launching the new “bespoke betting microsite” and that is should provide an “exciting, gaming experience”.
