The British Poker Festival Comes to Town

September is set to be a big month for poker lovers in the UK. This is because it is the month when the British Poker Festival will make sure that all eyes are turned to the UK capital.

There will be a total of more than 50 events going on in London –with 8 main ones pencilled in - and the combined prize money will easily pass £1 million. There will be 8 poker rooms on the go during the event.

The Festival will include a variety of tournaments and cash games to suit any type of player and any wagering budget. The fun won’t be limited to just the poker games though, as there will also be comedy shows, parties, the British Poker awards and the Black Belt Poker Academy.

8 Big Events

The first of the big events is the LCI UK Poker Tour, making its first appearance in London. This will happen between the 12th and the 16th of September in the Casino at the Empire. There will be £50,000 up for grabs here.

The Unibet Open starts on the 13th of the month while the Big Bluff Club’s Big Five O tourney comes along afterwards. The 17th of September then see the British Poker Awards take centre stage. This will happen at the HMS President on the Thames and tickets can still be bought online.

The 20th see the GUKPT Main Event at the Vic and the English Poker Open is at the Fox Poker Club between the 18th and the 21st. The final two main events are the Western September Festival and the Superstack Tour, in W3 and The Mint card room respectively.
