Playtech Sites Up and Running in Spain

The recently regulated Spanish online wagering market is sure to be the scene of some big announcements in the weeks to come, as the industry’s big guns roll out their sites and games to the eagerly waiting Spanish public.

Among the first developments has been the release of online casino and poker software from the developer Playtech.

The people at Playtech actually had their casino software for the Spanish market all set up and ready to go even before the new licenses were given out at the start of June. This means that the internet casino sites which use Playtech – such as bet365, Poker770 and William Hill – were in a position to get started right away.

In fact, those sites which use Playtech software have been ready to use for a while now, and they now have their early members signed up and playing away at a variety of casino games.

Of course, the product which was set up for the Spanish market has been customised for the local players. There is even a live casino feature which lets players take part in games being played from a Spanish land based casino. In addition to the games already out there, Playtech will shortly be bringing out more gaming options, such as TV based games and mobile access to casino games, poker and bingo.
